Project Exartizo
Equipped to thrive.
A community care ministry of Refine Church. A separately incorporated community nonprofit.
Mission & community
To equip, empower, and elevate our neighbors through compassionate care, practical resources, and trusted relationships. Based in Brooklyn, Ohio, Project Exartizo serves Greater Cleveland through community relationships and bilingual access.
Our vision
Communities across Cuyahoga County and beyond where a difficult season does not define a person’s future, and every neighbor has the support and opportunity to build the life they choose.
Our commitment to the community
Our services welcome people of all backgrounds and beliefs, including those with no religious affiliation. Church membership and religious participation are never required. Each program has its own intake process, schedule, and availability.
Program areas
- Culturally Rooted Pantry & Family Essentials: Latin American foods for everyone, plus diapers, baby needs, clothing, shoes, and household items.
- Whole Person Health & Healing: Medical clinics and mental health care are currently running. Dedicated trauma care is launching soon.
- Community Advocacy & Legal Support: Advocacy, trusted legal connections, housing concerns, and help navigating a household crisis.
- Education & Workforce: Adult literacy, GED preparation, English classes, and workforce development in one connected program.
